Polyend Synth

There will be no next time with Polyend for me for sure.
And as I wrote, I am sorry when someone gets offended, that was not my intention. It was only my way to spreading out my frustration.

When Polyend itself and all kinds of influencers demonstrate on all channels how great these new harmonized grid lines are, you get the idea that you want to record it, don’t you?

It’s just like selling a painter a new magic color that becomes invisible as soon as it dries. I really can’t understand what’s so hard to understand about that.

So basically you’re mad for something that was never advertised but you assumed. No ones fault but your own.

Okay. You won, okay? Let’s see what the market says…

I’ve seen at least one video that explained exactly how it works and that’s also what I’d expect it to do.

People are just trying to help.

So, can I ask you a final question? What is the point of these new harmonized grid playing techniques if they cannot be recorded/played back?

I’ll go out on a limb here and say for the internal synths?

Why doesn’t Polyend simply solve this with a working local off function? It is simply not thought through.

I’m more of a fan of leaving things out than implementing them half-heartedly so that they have little use. That way, the device is only half as valuable to me.

Beside that, the many crashes when switching scenes without saving and jitter noises in delays nailed my decision to send it back.

Maybe it’s my fault to use the effects and clock in to get this problem.
Maybe it’s my fault to assume demoed features that are not really recordable at end.
Who cares?

You may have had a bad one because no crashes here for me and I’ve been through all the scenes now since yesterday when it arrived.

same, no crashes yet and I have been back and forth through all the preset scenes and did not save any changes because I did not want to overwrite the presets yet.

I’m about to make a short video. There clearly is some sort of language barrier happening here. And i really want to know what the issue is

Alright here we go again - you can’t say i didn’t try to understand your problem :hugs:
Nevermind the video quality and/or my mess at the moment and i called Bitwig Ableton … twice

Is this what you are trying to do?

OK, thank you for taking the trouble, I think in that case iam a lucky winner and actually have a defective device, because this is exactly what isn’t working for me. It’s causing dropouts, freezes and nasty noises.

Ok that sucks then and i’m sorry! :hugs:
Glad we got it figured out though!

Thank you for taking your precious time.

Why did it always rain on me?
You don’t want to know how much is this the case.
What I often heard was: “we never experienced that problem with another single customer of us “

Only now have a chance to listen to demos, I think it is a very nice product. Comparable to ELZ_1 series which have more esoteric synth engines with much more sound shaping (like 4-6 effects or so) but less controllable. Granular not limited to 3 seconds or short record buffer (or whatever it was) is definitely tempting. Time to read the specs :sunglasses:

Yeah that sucks. Well i hope i was able to restore your faith in humanity a little bit. There are still people that do try to help

May i ask you, what is your native language?

You did indeed. Impressive. Thanks a lot.
