Don’t know how serieus you are about the sound vs stylishness, but am using these two for this purpose. Battery powered, great sound and decent volume.

Mine has Aux in, just tested it. Maybe it’s an older version. As far as B&O go, this one is pretty affordable 
. Sounds fab.
I don’t particularly care how it looks. I just want something simple to use to plug in my equipment on my couch or if I’m away. Don’t always love wearing headphones.
My issue nowadays is it is it hard to find a portal speaker with aux input. It seems the direction is now to use USB C aux-in but it’s hard to search and find those.
I use the Spark go as a portable speaker. It’s actually an amp, but you can also use it as speaker. And it’s really lightweight but still sounds good and at least I didn’t detect any latency.

Soundboks has a “mini” version with an aux input and i know it sounds great
it’s not cheap tho.
