When I place a trig on the 1st beat of the bar to open up the way for a Thru machine to work - once the audio starts to come through, I seem to be able to delete that trig without it affecting the audio. I’m sure this is the same with other types of machines as well. It doesn’t matter of course but I’m curious to know the reason for this if someone can tell me. Thanks in advance for any help!
As the name says, the trig “trigs” the sounds. Once it is trigged the enveloppe will define its attack, duration, relase, etc.
Delete the trig after the tracks plays and press Stop. Try to play again, you’ll have no sound cause there’s no signal to trig the sound. To put it simpler, a playback kind of opens the audio channel to let the sound thru.
