Play 5 or more synthesizers at same time?

Hello sorry my english , i have some hardware synths and i want to make them sound at same time with OT. For example: minibrute for the bassline , ms20 mini for ambient , Virus ti for leads and Bs2 for other bassline . How can i do that with the OT ? need i another midi-thru machine /equipment or is enough connecting the 4 synts with midi trhu cables with OT as studio-central ? ? I want them play at same time in 1 pattern in the octatrack. Is that possible ? is possible to make them sound each one in several midi tracks (each one in each midi track) in the same pattern ? thanks very much . Any video tutorial or detailed help ? thanks sorry for disturb

You can use different midi tracks, but you need to connect them by midi-in/thru-out, or use splitter or merger.

As to audio, you have only 4 audio mono inputs. If your synths have mono outputs - you can connect them to OT, if you need connect stereo outputs from synths - you can use only 2 pairs, or use external mixer for group this synths.

thanks very muck sir. I was looking for this unit : www.thomann.de/es/kentonmidithru_5.htm

but i suppose is not really necessary if i connect all the synths via midi thru right?. I suppose that the kenton is for connecting synths that doesn’t have midi thru , right ? or am i wrong ? thanks so much

The Kenton also solves another problem.

If they’re all chained together, you might run into timing/sync issues due to the midi signal reaching each machine at a different point in time. The more synths in the chain, the worse it will get.

I’m using this one:

This device doesn’t need power supply (less cables and one more free socket))

As to issues - I didn’t notice any issues before at midi-thru connecting 3-4 devices. But I cannot be sure you will not have problems with your equipment.

First of all, try to connect without kenton(/miditech) by midi-in/thru-out…

really great answers , thanks you guys , Will try first with midi cables via midi thru
