PL-1 vs PL-2?

I’m evaluating case and protection options for my Elektrons, and saw that Sweetwater is currently (in 2017) selling “ECC-2 with PL-1 Protective Lid”, while on Elektron’s site they list it as ECC-2 with PL-2.

What is the difference between PL-1 and PL-2? And is it likely that the Sweetwater listing is really for a PL-2 or does that even matter?

I think the PL-1 fits snug on the OT/MD/MM and the PL-2 is slightly bigger and fits all boxes. They’re probably all PL-2’s at this point unless Sweetwater has had a pile of PL-1’s for awhile. I prefer the PL-1 for the OT, it fits nice and stays put. Pl-2 is a little loose on Rytm…
