Pickup/flex playback issues/bugs

Hey all. Been a long time since I’ve had to ask for help here but im having trouble…
I’m having these few problems:

Slice options menu sometimes not available on flex recorder channel while in record. Is this a bug or is there something I’m not aware of causing this?

Pickup sometimes shows —/066 when it should be 064. Also, pickup record doesn’t start at 000 sometimes, seems to start at any random number between 000 and 064. What’s up with that?

When using quick record mode, is it possible to deactivate overdub? The way I sample right now, i never want to overdub. When i press AB to start record, do i always have to press CD after (stopping overdub), or can this be changed. Is there another way/mode?

First question when sporadic unplanned things happen - do you have anything connected to the OT MIDI input that might be sending CC messages to the OT?

Actually… yes! Awkg Oktakontrol. Never ocurred to me cause I don’t even think of it as seperate from the OT!
I’ll have to check that out.
