SMPLseq (8 voice Digitakt-style sampler) now has full hardware integration for Push 3 standalone, Push 3, Push 2, Push 1 and Move. Computers running Ableton now optional.

Also added quantised pitch input via MIDI and some other bits.

Great work! Can SMPLseq 2.0 send its sequencer notes and parameter locks to external VST instruments (like Midiseq), or only to its internal sampler?

Internal only sorry! MIDIseq is still the go-to for external sequencing and control.

The idea is to have a self contained instrument for a more focussed workflow without having to jump to other VSTs to map parameters etc.

Ok makes sense! Seeing that SMPLseq works with Move, is there any chance similar duties will be implemented for MIDIseq?

It’s something we’d like to do but:

  1. It will require a massive overhaul of the device which is something we’ve already done numerous times now (MIDIseq is on v2.7) and is no small task
  2. There are other devices that need our attention first

So hopefully one day but not in the immediate near future :slight_smile:
