Parameter Lock ... in Ableton Live & Push

haha lots of questions!

not aware of a CPU meter on P3SA (please correct me if I’m wrong) so can’t give any actual figures but operation is smooth, just like operation in controller mode with Ableton.

the main thing to note is the initialisation time when adding the device to a channel. maybe it takes around 15 seconds on P3SA whilst 10 seconds on Ableton with an M1 mac.

other than that, there’s a mild CPU spike (7% momentary increase on Ableton) when you change the MIDI channel due to the dynamic UI and push interface updates that need to happen. we’ll probably spend some time looking to optimise this further if possible.

honestly, the morphing is very optimised in v2.0. no issues i’m aware of. you have 64 slots to save patterns into. you can either load them into data L or data R. M morphs between data L and data R. you can either jump between L, R and M or use the slider with M to morph between.

just incase you couldn’t tell, everything in the final jam of the YT video (from 9:36) is in standalone mode.

will be shooting some more demos eventually but for now, we rest
