Oxi One Hardware Sequencer

In struggling with a few basics and must read the manual over the weekend. Main one is how do you select a individual track on a multitrack for editing parameters without selecting / disturbing sequencer pads.

I am impressed though. Just when I was reconsidering another go at the Cirklon

You can enable backlight!

Will leak about 5.0 firmware of the OXI ONE.
There will be custom instrument definitions with a new fantastic app .
Chords for chromatic scale.
And Custom chords for poly among other things.

O to the M to the G, terrific news!

Custom definitions?

Isn’t it going to be more like that if someone creates complete definition for Waldorf M and share it with others, then there is no need for anyone else doing it again?

So basically crowd sourcing creation of definitions, then hopefully sharing those, and then just pick the ones for the gear you have and fill the limited Oxi memory with those…?

That’s what I hope

Oh damn! Glad you’ve had the headspace to get back to it

Will these be in any form easy to share/exchange with each other?

Yes, even if it’s only organized in the OXI discord that will be excellent.

But being able to import/export via a “new fantastic app” sounds good too.

Can’t wait to get a mkii! Exciting stuff

Is there an estimated window for the mk2?

And price?

I‘m a bit disappointed to be honest. Just a couple of weeks ago since i bought one new (lot of money for me) and it‘s only two and a half (?) year on the market but already dated. I understand the need for new products in our capitalistic world though. But that‘s a pretty fast mkII imo.

Sure, it doesn‘t make v1 worse (and i like it) but i would love a few more poly tracks as well. It does have an outstanding support though. So this is definitely a company worth supporting. :+1:

just my personal opinion, feel free to disagree :sunflower:

I kind of get where your coming from (im also a fairly new owner) however for all we know this could be a more expensive tier XL version for users with more gear - simply another option rather then replacement.

Also this seems a really small independent company so maybe they need to boost sales and keep innovating to survive. I wouldnt begrudge them that.

Coming from someone who bought the E25 trio lol
