any reccomendation for micro b to usb c cables? or would any work, its my first time dealing with this type of connection so am unsure, i assume its all the same but maybe not, idk. thats why im askin.

Make sure it’s a USB 3 or 3.1 cable.

You’ll likely be better served with an adaptor like this … imho … (more useful to have around) then use your normal cable with it
Elektron may advise against this but i’ve had no issues with an item with identical functionality
It’s useful to have, cheap, might be worth trying/risking on your setup
A cable may well exist, but might be a bit niche
