Overbridge VST no audio thru Ableton

Hey friends, I cannot understand why when I load the Digitakt II VST in Ableton, on a MIDI track I get no signal/audio. HOWEVER, the Digitakt II standalone App works just fine.

My settings…
Digitakt II hardware: USB Config > OVERBRIDGE
USB > Macbook
Overbridge Engine is active

Privacy & Security > Allow Accessibility to: Overbridge Engine, Digitakt II, Overbridge Control Panel

ABLETON:
Audio Input > Digitakt II
Audio Output > Apollo Twin X interface
MIDI Track: Digitakt II VST

Audio Tracks:
Audio From > Digitakt II, Track 1–15

I don’t know much about mac OS but two things that you could probably check: make sure that there is no mac related audio routing which is sending audio back out to the DTII as the audio interface instead of your apollo twin, and then also somebody else had to allow overbridge in general > login items as opposed to privacy and security.

Worst comes to worst contact support via your account on elektron.se

Good luck

You don’t want to set the DTIl as a soundcard in this scenario. You can set your Apollo as the input.

Drop an instance of OB into a track. This should give you the main outs. Create additional audio tracks and set FROM to the DTII and specific track you want.

There’s a lot more you can do but that should point you in the right direction.

What version of MacOS are you on? If you’re on Tahoe, is it supported yet for OB? I’m on Sequoia and it works without issue.
