I’ve updated to the macOS 26 beta, and now there’s no sound in the Overbridge VST. The standalone Overbridge app works fine, though. Do you have any idea what might be causing this, or should I just wait for a fix?
I think new macos issues were mentioned a short while ago
It’s not supported as it’s in beta, it’s not listed in the compatibility list either . Elektron don’t typically announce a date for a new overbridge but I think we can assume they’re working on it to keep their mac users happy
I’d guess it would be released once the os is officially released … similar to all the other developers updating their plugins for any new os, whether it’s mac or windows .
Any other feedback re application issues? or is everything pretty smooth?
everything else is fine
I am experiencing the same issue here as well on the Tahoe beta, Everything seems to work fine other than no audio being passed through the plugins.
Anyone tested with the public beta yet ?
Ok I thought I would try it out with the latest public beta. Overbridge with the Digitakt 2 worked fine. Use this info at your own risk ![]()
Has anyone heard of an Overbridge update to address this issue with OS Tahoe? I’m sitting idle and wanting to record some tracks! Cheers!
It’s only supported up to Sequoia as per the download page.

"Overbridge 2.21 is compatible with macOS 11 Big Sur to macOS 15
"
Just clicked on the link in your post and this is what it has written.
Overbridge 2.25.3 supports:
- macOS 11 Big Sur or later (runs natively on Apple Silicon)
This info makes it appear as if the latest OS is compatible, but without a more explicit statement I’m going to wait before upgrading to Tahoe (OS 16).
I know the big announcement was the ST firmware but I would’ve thought Elektron would’ve highlighted Tahoe comparability.
It used to be unheard of to use a new Mac OS let alone a beta for music until well after release and all compatibility issues were so sorted out.
