All the overbridge apps don’t recognize my digitakt 2…
Digi on fw 1.15, overbridge on 2.21.3 running on windows 10.
I tried many times reinstalling, reinstalling, changing usb config on digitakt. ( when in usb midi or usb audio/midi mode the engine recognizes but in this state it’s useless…)
I tried on my other pc and it’s the same…
Pls help mee!
The only thing that I can think of is that the Overbridge product page specifies windows 10 with the latest service pack, so maybe see if windows has a scheduled update which you can push through to your PC.
Otherwise, since you’ve already attempted to reinstall and update the elektron software and the firmware on the device itself, I think that you should send a support ticket to elektron and see what they have to say.
My hardware is always fully up to date…
I think the USB is damaged… I tried many different cables -.-
Fantastic, sounds like you’ve done everything that you can, now is the time to email support and then wait patiently for a response.
The USB connectivity won’t be selectively damaged. You said it’s detected when you switch out of overbridge mode into usb midi or usb audio / midi, that means that the USB is not broken.
You have some sort of software / firmware conflict which is why you need to talk to them directly, this is just a user forum.

I try to make a backup and do a factory reset. Hoping that it helps. If not, I am out of ideas…
Backup this thing needs couple of hours… i was really busy since I get digi2… ohman… I don’t know how to feel after hours of troubleshooting. Ending up with sadness multiple times…
You can try the factory reset but it’s my opinion that it won’t help. The conflict is more likely to be that something didn’t properly update when migrating from the prior OB software to the newest, or prior digitakt 2 OS to the newest. You might have better luck trying to reload the DT2 firmware via sysex instead of USB, but I think that you should wait and talk to elektron.
On this forum in the past, I’ve definitely read of instances where people had the exact same issue as you do. Sometimes this same issue also makes it impossible to connect to the Elektron Transfer program (device not detected) and won’t work unless you switch to the usb audio / midi like how you described.
Do what you want, it’s your machine, but I think you’ve reached the end of the road for troubleshooting without elektron.
You tested multiple cables, reloaded the software, reloaded the firmware. OB is up to date, DT2 is up to date, Windows is up to date, and for this type of issue, these are all of the things that can be easily serviced by the user.
I’m sure elektron will have a better idea of what to do next because I think that these issues do get fixed, but it may have to do with removing and replacing a specific Overbridge driver or something, and I wouldn’t know where to start with that.
