Overbridge has been rather useless to me. I have a Macbook Pro with a 2.66GHz i7 CPU, on OS 10.10.5. The Rytm was plugged in directly (no hub in between) to the Mac.
Besides the buggy Total Recall, routing the Rytm audio into Ableton Live was a disappointment. Whether Running the Rytm as a clock sync slave or master with the recommened setup in Live’s preferences) it just would not play in time, and every few minutes there would be serious stuttering and popping. I increased the Margin in the plugin settings to 100 (which gave a latency of around 80ms) to no avail. Live and Overbridge were set to 256 buffer size, and Overbridge set to 16 bit.
I went back to the using the analog outputs pretty quick. … . All this plus the lack of a fast sample uploader in Overbridge is a big let down.
