Overbridge for Digitakt II - Troubles in Ableton Live

This is on Ableton, they should open up all vsts to have more then 16 channels per vst limitation.
But also this request dates since Live exist, so don’t have your hopes high.
Hopefully one day I’ll eat my own words, but until then work with what you got.

Yeah, i think he should have 16 tracks plus all fx (3 channels, reverb, delay and chorus) on separate channels plus master out and input also, so 22 channels.

Did I miss something? DT2 does class-compliant multi-track audio now? This would be great, but I don’t think it’s true.

Not class-compliant, no :frowning:

I think i saw this possible, now scratching my head where did I get this from. Will try to find a video, maybe i am wrong.

Maybe some users of other Daws can confirm this. Mainly Reaper and Logic allows 16 channels + main + inputs and fx

I think he was asking about the class-compliant part, which would mean you could use multi-channel without needing a driver installed.

DTII is class compliant but only for the master channel (not individual channels).

Ahh yeah my bad i was still using OB in this instance. Using the DT as interface means recording track by track though doesnt it?

Nope, Ableton lets you record as many tracks as you want simultaneously

Siiiick. I didn’t know that was a thing. I wonder if there’s a way of rooting DT tracks in logic as well… will have a look this weekend…
