I had severe USB issues with OB and my previous system. DCP Issues, port flooding, wasn’t able to use OB at all.
Then I purchased the overhub and things went better (on Renesas USB3 port)
But I still had other latency related issues in Cubase.
2 weeks ago I upgraded my p67 2700k system to a X99 6800k sytem with 16gb ddr4-3000, OCZ RD400 m.2 SSD and Nvidia GTX 1060. Cubase 9 and overbridge via overhub just FLY
I can run OB and Cubase at 128k buffers with an A4 (fx + 1 + 2) and Rytm (main + 2 outs) without problems. Plays supertight and no glitches at all.
This is on the onboard ASmedia USB 3.1 “Superspeed” port.
Overhub went bezerk on the Intel x99 USB3 ports.
I’m so happy this finally works, saves 12 inputs on my madi interface
