Hello everyone.
To anyone using Overbridge and Ableton
I have watched some videos about recording stems into ableton using Overbridge.
However it seems like there can only be one track at a time recorded?
Or is there a way to record all individual tracks in one go in Live?
Yes, just set up all track routing into individual audio channels in ableton live, select all and record. You can save template every time you load live everything will be routed. In overbridge vst you will need to go to master section if you have 16 channels, to set up some overbridge routing, since live can only allow 16 channels for a vst. For example effects from digitakt are running trough channels 17,18 and 19. Line in is 20 and master out is 21. One workaround is to route few drum channels into one(Oh Ch into one channel, same as clap and snare…, delay reverb and chorus also can be in one channel… Etc)

Wow ok i see!
Thank you so much for tuning in (Dankeschön in case i get the username origin right)
Its so ironic. Waiting for so long for OB support only to find out that now Ableton is the Bottleneck
One other thing i see thought i might be missing (a lot) of things first time using OB is that it does not seem to be possible to re-arrange the Tracks in the Digitakt using the OB plugin. I realised i had a session that had nothing playing from Track 4-8 and wanted to bring all tracks after 8 4 positions lower so i have them all next to each other but no joy
Cheers!
