Have you checked if you have some kind of unintended midi loopback ? If I were you, I’d put the midi input from setting on “disabled” and also disable clock send and receive, transport send and receive, as well as program change receive, just to test it.
Unfortunately, it still behaves weird. Now sometimes it moves between two states, or is stuck in one state for a while, and then alternates between two states …
I just recoreded a bit, and only when ALL other tracks are muted on the DNII, it got unstuck.
Yeah, as I said, I’ve had a very similar bug when I made a randomizer in Bitwig, sending tons of midi CCs to the DN2. Turns out the DN2 don’t like receiving a lot of midi informations in one time. Also, there’s some weird things when an lfo don’t work anymore and you mute a machine from another track, the lfo is not blocked anymore.
Do you have some midi machines on your tracks ? If not, I’d check Reaper and see if there’s some problems with the midi channel, or some automation on an overbridge parameter.
It’s really just Digitone II with synth machines. Nothing with Midi.
No MIDI connected, just the USB.
I also deactivated everything with sync, including temp & transport sync from Overbridge.
I set all Midi Tracks to OFF on the DNII itself.
No Midi objects, no Automation, nothing in Reaper - except of course the audio tracks.
