My audio/midi setting and monitoring/capture preferences at audio capture page are being reset every time I turn off or disconnect my Digitakt. Is it a bug or normal behaviour, and are there any ways to preserve these settings?

im gonna hijack this thread bc i have a question in regards to this;
I want to use my DT as an input to record an external sound source into my mac.
There is no daw on my computer. I just want to use OB to record longer audio files in to the mac.
this is possible from what i’ve read but can i get a confirmation; and if so any tips or advice on how to get the best sound, avoid clipping, etc…?
