Overbridge Digitakt and Cubase issue

Ok so I have seen this question going around but never solved, maybe my issue is unique.
I am running Cubase 10.5 with RME fireface and/or Behringer UMC1820.
Overbridge works fine while in standalone mode, I have signal on all channels etc.
However, once I turn Cubase on and select Overbridge as vst, there is no audio coming in.
I have tried to swap audio interface to Digitakt core or high but it doesnt work either.
So, I dont have a virtual stream of audio within an Overbridge at all.
I would like to be able to use Overbridge as a plugin and have all 8 separate channels active (I know how to add outputs to Overbridge), and to use it with the rest of my external gear. However, now I cannot get any audio via Overbridge into Cubase.
Again, as standalone, it works, audio outputs work when i plug device into one of my audio interfaces, so it is definitely not the issue within Digitakt.
Please help, this is extremely frustrating.

are you using Cubase pro?

Yes. 10.5.20

does the Overbridge Vst recognise the Digitakt in Cubase?

Yes it does. it reads all commands and follows hardware (reads samples, follows lfo speed etc)

Have you tried right clicking the vst and pressing activate all outputs?

Yep, just like with any other multi output vst. Creates extra busses but still no sound.

Hello, I have the same problem. Anybody here that has solved this? Thanks.
