Overbridge and external sequencer

I am what is the best way to use overbridge with an external sequencer and Ableton live 11 DAW?

Would it be best to:

  1. Sequence with the Analog Rytm/A4 and record over OB
  2. Sequence with the Oxi One via the DAW and send the MIDI to the AR/A4 and record the audio to a DAW audio track from the AR/A4
  3. Sequence the notes in to the DAW and then send them to the A4/AR. Record the output to an audio channel.

Also, anyway to stop the A4/AR starting all of the tracks and built in sequences when i press play so only the note sequenced on the Oxi one are played? Any other things i should know about Overbirdge? Sorry for the newbie questions. I love the lack of latency with OB so would love to carry on using it more.
