Hey folks, I need some help correctly setting up overbridge to work with my setup.
I get confused by routing signals and the signal flow from DAWs/Interface/Hardware, so I might got something wrong.
My setup is ableton on windows, a Scarlett interface, a modular synth that is sequenced from a digitakt and the digitakt itself. So far I never really needed overbridge but I’m working on something more complex and would like to multitrack my digitakt. I have overbridge set up and it records, the routing in the digitakt is disabled so I get only the fx on the main out.
To hear what I am recording I now have to input monitor the individual tracks in ableton, right? That means I have to also input monitor my modular to get rid of the latency? Or how is this done the smartest way? If it’s all input monitored in Ableton I won’t be able to play the hardware instruments in sync? Is there any monitoring setting I have to adjust on my interface?
