What’s the workflow for automating Overbridge parameters across multiple tracks in Ableton Live given that you can’t have multiple instances of Overbridge running? I want multiple tracks because I’m using group macros and macro variations to effectively create ‘scenes’. One track is responsible for say TUNE and RATIO (pitch character variations, shall we say) and another FREQ and RESO (filter variations, shall we say) - referring to Syntakt specifically here but you get the general point. I want ‘pitch variations’ and ‘filter variations’ to be independent.
After wasting an entire evening I think the answer is, “There isn’t one.” ![]()
I haven’t tried it and I don’t have an elektron box in front of me at the moment although I do have Live open. Don’t you just make multiple midi tracks then in the “midi to” pulldown you choose the syntakt and then the second pulldown gives you the various destinations you can choose?
In other words you don’t need to do it from the track that’s hosting the OB plugin, you should be able to do it from any track, no?
