Overbridge 2.26.9 + Ableton — no audio when using 3.5mm headphones as output
After updating to Overbridge 2.26.9 I’ve lost overbridge audio in Ableton when using 3.5mm headphones as my output device. The Overbridge control panel shows audio coming in normally, tempo sync is working, but Ableton tracks remain silent.
If I change my output device to anything other than 3.5 headphones (have currently tested SSL Big Six, Laptop Speakers, External Display Speakers, SSL 18, and airpods) there is no problem.
Everything else is fine with overbridge both the plug-in and the control panel.
This occured after the newest update to bring Multitrack Recording for the Tonverk.
Setup:
- Elektron Analog Rytm MK2, OS 1.72
- Overbridge 2.26.9
- Ableton Live
- 3.5mm headphones as output device
What I’ve ruled out:
- Routing is correct (worked fine before the update)
- Monitor is set to In, record enabled
- Headphones work fine for all non-Overbridge audio in Ableton
- Every other output device works — issue is specific to 3.5mm headphones
- Nothing else changed (no OS update, no Ableton update)
This worked without issue before updating Overbridge. Anyone else seeing this or know of a fix?
