OUTPUT has some new AI tools ready to go!
Jesus this really is the beginning of the end for producers!
So glad I’m a guitarist
OMG sample pack bros, it’s over…
Resurrecting this thread from ages ago… they’ve now released this application and it looks interesting.
Has anyone tried it?
For me I feel like it would be interesting to somehow pair it with my SP404 MK2 to help find complimentary samples to use.
@Heyes Hello can you reshape the thread to reflect the new Output Co-Producer offer from Output. All the features etc… so it will become the official thread from here.
@tyrnnsrs
Yes I will tryout the Co-Producer. But I’m thinking to something and I would like to share to the others.
Well, I weave worlds with motion and sound—drawing anime dreams, creating worlds in 3D, shaping light and image to text through design and photography, and composing beats that travel from deep house to electro jazz, from Afro tribal rhythms to the pulse of Chicago’s hard house and Detroit’s techno soul. I’m also giving courses and write some stuff, make video courses etc.
So nowadays if you are like me there’s real chance that :
you are a client for multi-subscriptions, pay attention to your finance because with prices going between to 10/25€ a month for one service, if you pile a few it can go crazy very fast. I would suggest that you really define your needs in correlation to your music genres. Because not every company can help depending the music genre. For instance, at the moment I’m focusing on Afro House in the style of FNX Omar, Hyenah, Enoo Napa (which is kinda inspired by Carl Craig, E-Dancer in this new electronic music genre)
( and it’s add on the pile of subscriptions if you like movies & tv shows )
So there’s not so much company that offering me world percussions, world instruments, for vocal anyway I will have to work with real vocalist (fiverr) is a solution before to our futur label records gives us opportunity to work with vocalist from Africa. (if there’s a day like that at some point) - we already worked with a dope duduk player in December. cost us 126,46 € but it was very best money spent for one track, and the guy was so kind to work with. A Pleasure.
I would suggest you really evaluate the needs, the offer and try some services to see if it’s satisfying… and that you cancel the subscriptions that don’t give you enough value for the price. If you do mixing yeah it can pile some more subscriptions damn…
There a lot of services I can’t list otherwise I’m OFF- Topic but I hope you get the idea.
So. Been trying out this Co-Pro.
It’s a great tool for sure.
Even tho it looks shaped for the whole bunch of the creative crowd, I’d say it is mostly aimed at a) content creators and b) beginner producers.
It sure helps a lot to have the ability to search samples that matches your tracks and/or random samples as a starting point. And the extensive library has many genres covered.
And I’d add that the AI part is not invasive at this point, since the AI analyses and helps sort out samples. It doesn’t create things for you.
The subscription based model is what it is, and I truly hope OUTPUT make a bundle out of CoPro and Arcade.
All in all, it’s a great tool to help you either kickstart or streamline your creative needs and producing routines.
It’s probably not for everyone, but it’s a productive tool that can, at times, even stir your productions in uncharted territories. I tried to find some strings ideas on a Trap type-beat and it yielded some interesting ideas that took the track in another direction entirely. The artist was really pleased.
I’ll keep watching OUTPUT’s development. I’m pretty sure they do have some other things cooking.
OK, so if I’ve got this right, Co-Pro will listen to your tune and help you get some samples that are in-key for the project?
I know initially there was some talk of this being AI generated. Which is sortof an interesting concept. Given all the issues with sampling real music now, if there was a way to come up with samples that were generated I feel that could solve a specific problem, while also side-stepping the issue of everyone looking at the same sites for samples etc.
As it is, I guess it’s not a bad idea - allowing you to make the most of the samples in Arcade. I imagine most folks use it like Kontakt, but you can of course get those inividual samples out of it, and this looks to help you in that process.
I think all in all that’s not a bad idea. The sampless themsleves in Arcade are decent, so easier access to them is no bad thing.
