I discovered a very elegant 4u option (plus 1u of space for cabling). Tis an adjustable depth VESA mount. I discovered that you can mount the center plate at an angle. A few rubber bumpers on the bottom lip and some Velcro strips on the back of each unit and they will remain secure. You could mount the center plate flat and have the pedals mounted vertically if you used lots of velcro.
I have a Cioks power supply mounted in the back to power all 3.
