OT + XOXbox - humming/stuck note issue

further to this thread: My xoxbox hates the OT midi seq!?, i’m having an issue with the xoxbox humming when not playing notes, after the OT has sent midi sequence/notes to the xox.

it’s like the gate/envelope or VCA (not sure which!) is stuck on/open and making quite a loud hum.

pretty annoying - anyone else had this issue, or got a fix? did some experiments sending midi notes to the xox from my MD, and didn’t get this humming issue…

It could be an issue with the OT not sending Note Off.

I usually press Stop twice on the OT. This should stop the sound.

The A4 seems to do the same thing sometimes using its own sequencer.

ah, that could well be it. maybe i’ll have to plock a note with zero velocity/volume at the end of sequences to shut the xox up!
will try it later
