OT tempo per pattern bug, os 1.40a

Hi every one
I hope there is something that can help me solve this problem with my OT MK 1.
I use tempo per pattern and it has worked fine up to bank 6. But from bank 7 onwards something strange happens
when I switch from: “bank 7 / pat 1 …2…or 3” to another bank, then bpm follows as it should.

But when I switch from: " bank 7 / pat 4…5…6…7…8…etc." to another bank, then bpm does not follow as it should.
It writes the correct bpm but plays something different.

The same thing happens in banks 8, 9, 10, 11, etc.

I have checked everything I can think of. And as I said, it works fine in the first 6 banks.
so why all of a sudden this problem?
A few days ago I updated to 1.40a but it did not help.
does anyone have anything helpful to say about this problem.?

Nothing helpful to add but hope to try to replicate when I get a chance

Are you using pick-up machines? I’ve read they monkey with tempo.

Thank you Clancy

No, I´m not yousing pickup machines…

The mystery deepens…

Same problem here and this is from bank 3 to bank 4. Really annoying in live situation…

Hi everyone, I just read these coments about tempo per pattern bugs, It happens to me from pattern 5 onwards too. In my case the tempo is very slow, like 117 somtimes 119, but on the screen it marks the right tempo.
I have to press stop/play or move a little bit the tempo with the knob.
It’s really anoying!
I have a MK2 with the last software ( Octatrack OS 1.40B )

If anyone has some tips or something I will be grateful!!!

PD: In arrengement mode It doesn’t happens to me only when you change it manually.

What does Elektron’s support say?

I had this some times ago, don’t remember with wich bank and pattern it was. If my memories are good, I save the project with another name, and it was ok.

To compensate, I’ve started pressing the right or left arrow button right when it switches from one bank to another. It apparently finds the correct tempo as soon as one of these buttons is activated. It’s a bit clunky of course, but it’s the best alternative I’ve found.

It’s a good idea, I never found the perfect solution for this, I stopped looking for it when I bought the analog rytm mk2 :grimacing:, the rytmmk2 clock makes the octatrack perform well…
