Grey sounds better.
Grey lookin slick with the red
Yep, grey all the way. Converters in the grey ones sound better to me…
Oohh-now I want some coloured function buttons!
Edit - doh! @error.eyes beat me to it!
Be careful changing the colour of your buttons on your Ot mk2 grey. Doing so will similarly change its frequency footprint in a manner similar to a grey vs black Ot2 and you could lose your musical superiority.
is this lego mk2 in black?
now now…
Confirmed, grey is the best sounding OT
Add this now:
Well no) I just like that button colour combined with the grey.
Is that an actual replacement unit? I’d love to have a yellow screen…
One folk here in Elektronauts put one of this in his Syntakt if I recall it right. This seems to be OEM for several devices, including Elektrons.
I’m interested because getting one of this shipped to Brazil + local electrician work is cheaper than sending any box to the USA or Europe for any eventual replacement of whites on Syntakt/OT2.
Also…I kind of want to see a yellow screen black OT…
Ok, so you all have grey Octatracks, but how grey is yours? I want to know who has the greyest Octatrack of them all
The MK1 is the most colorful of them all
mk1 drove me crazy
it is in terms of the colour spectrum but of course this a thread about who uses the grey mk2 which i am currently using to mangle my jams in a sonically pleasing way
I know this thread isn’t for me, as a lowly operator of a black mk2, but I must voice my desire a grey one. Perhaps one day I’ll be able to trade mine. There’s just something magical about grey Octatracks that I don’t get to experience.
I heard grey Octatrack users are more successful in business, the kitchen, and in their love lives.
I heard grey Octatrack users are never too late or too early, yet they don’t wear seatbelts.
I heard grey Octatrack users never experience sadness, hunger, or writer’s block.
Fly, grey Octatrack users, fly! For I will be cheering you from right here.
welcome!
