OT lag&latency issue

Hello Elektronauts!

I got some wierd behaviour from OT (MK1 1.40) recently and it’s still ongoing.
I’ll try to describe the behaviour, but in a nutshell I cannot play slices, chromatic or just trigger samples while the sequencer is running. (For some reason I CAN play slots without issues.)
My current example: 2 tracks with 16 slices.
Track mode is set to slice on both tracks. Rec is not engaged, only play. While pattern is playing I’m getting a horrible lag.
When I checked with metronome on, it seems to align itself to the first beat, but I cannot understand why.
I went thru all the suspect menu options but could not address this issue. (It’s not rec quantized.)
And to make thing slightly weirder, when I engage Rec&Play to record, the “latency” is gone.
I have noticed this last week but today when using slices it was really obvious. Bug, broken or user error. Cannot tell…

TRIG QUANT=TR. LEN

?

Definitely sounds like some kind of quantization, from your description.

Have this every once in a while. As of latest, a couple of days ago. Try a src-page clear, often fixes it. If that doesn’t work, delete the slices and redo them.

I’ll have to give this a try again then. It’s a bit inconsistent as I usually do quite a lot of clearing pages.
