OT introduce track gradually into the mix

OK I did something by accident and I’d like to know how I did it.

I had a chromatic synth sample keyed in. I had two scenes set up on xfade just effecting spazializer and delay on master channel. I had just copied and pasted the first step of the sequence from last trig in 2nd bar of 64 step sequence to first trig in 3rd bar of sequence. Maybe I knocked the page button and maybe I was in the conditional /microtiming window at some point.

Suddenly the synth sequence stopped. I thought the trigs were gone as I checked by pressing record but I think I just had the wrong bar selected at that point. I checked the mutes and messed around with the cue/mute state. Maybe held function and pressed the T5 button (synth sequence on T5).

Then I started to hear it quietly coming in. So the whole master sequence of 64 steps plays through maybe 4 times then I can hear the synth sequence faintly. It gradually gets loader over each play through of the 64 steps until it is full volume again.

So without touching arranger, or LFOs, the track gradually comes in over a few repetitions of the overall pattern. I haven’t explored fills yet.

What did I do!!!

You might have made some slide trigs by accident, you can check all the trigs by pressing [FUNC+BANK], go through each page and see if you have triggers in the “slide” lane.
