The RNC is nice, but you should give the RLNA a chance, too!
Thanks! yes actually this works very nicely, I liked about a 30-40 dry/wet mix. If I ever get any gigs again I will use this on the master for sure!
I use the RNLA on the master inserts of my Soundcraft EPM8, with a Harrison Labs FMOD in the RNLA sidechain loop, and it works beautifully, especially if you like ‘gooey’ mixes.

I use an old Alesis Microlimiter in a similar way, gives it a sort of a VHS type sound if you push it a bit harder than you should but not so hard that it distorts.
