The OT’s main and cue outs can be used as 4 separate outs via panning all tracks either hard to the left and hard to the right and cueing some of the tracks. I use this to separate kick, snare, hihats and other on a mixer, when using the OT as drum machine (instead of MD or A4+Mbase).
However, the volume of those “emulated separate mono outs” is fairly low. I guess it has something to do with the outs being in fact stereo outs. I use the mixer preamps to bring the levels up again, but there might be a better way to achieve the same output volume on the mixer.
Do you know how the OT can be set up so that you can get an appropriate gain when using the outs as 4 separate mono outs?
