We already have parameter slide itās called portamento but itās only available on the Tune parameter 
I never said anything about the quality of song mode, Iām sure itās perfectly excellent.
But Iām still waiting for all them song mode bangers to materialize. Based purely on how integral a feature people said it was when it wasnāt a feature, Iād have expected to see more evidence of it in use amongst our cohort of miserable whining shitbags feature request enthusiasts.
Itās almost like the people complaining about all these features donāt even make any musicā¦

Do we get some sort of zoom to adjust slice points? or is it how it is how with start & end points - i.e. endlessly tweaking the knob and hope/prey you get the right spot

This is fantastic - I really hope they add zoom to the other machines for picking start & end points. I care more about loop points than slices, but thatās all my personal thing
This is one tiny step towards the DT2 being a viable replacement for the OT (yes I said tiny step, donāt kill me!). I also think the dev team might have finally got to grips with the new platform now, this update came much quicker than the last one.

@brian3kb you might wanna see this. but i think the slice info will be stored as part of the project so probably there wonāt be any way to deliver (un-gridded) slice info from digichain to DTII (unless they store it in header like M8 does, which i really doubt)

Re: song mode, I donāt think people need to post all of their tunes here, or to explicitly state āI used song mode in thisā whenever they do, for it to have been a worthwhile addition, but I get where youāre coming from about people moaning and itās a fair point
