This is great, love hearing Jonas’ passion for the drum synth concept. It does sound really good, like 808 territory and more. really excited to create moprhing kits with the LFO, pitchbend and velocity mods

Will try that, thank you

The multi usb tracks out are in mono or stereo? Or is it possible to choose? Not very clear at this stage for me after having watched several videos. I don’t have my opxy to try it out yet

You can choose. Eight channels that can be combined in arbitrary stereo/mono configuration.

Upside down view confusing, but I did like, “I’m gonna go flip my salmon burger…”

Yes. 8xmono, 1xstereo/6xmono, …

Ok so 4 stereo tracks max or 8 mono and any combinations in between

Yes and you can also make buses and route several tracks through the same USB output channel, e.g. tracks 1 and 2 and both send FX through the same output.
Can’t wait to go down the rabbit hole with the outbox8 this weekend!

Can’t wait to install and play with the update. The tape track can be sent to on usb channel too?

Main out, Track 1 - 8, the aux track, tape track, the FX tracks I and I, mic, line in, metronome.
Since the punch in track and the brain are midi FX, they are baked into the audio tracks 1 - 8.

P-locking the random parameter on each key is not possible. Only the random parameter in the envelope can we automated. Is that correct or am I just doing it wrong?

As far as I know, only the main parameters can be p-locked on the OP-XY, not the shift parameters. But since you can p-lock the envelope per step, you just have to make sure that there aren’t any other sounds on the step you want to p-lock.

Stop complaining.
“What you need is a probably different machine”

I’ll take the bait. There’s a difference between asking the sample management to be better (which I would call a modest and reasonable thing to ask for) and asking for five completely different features that are unrealistic and would turn it into a different machine. If you don’t see the difference, I can’t help.

To those who have already spent some time with the update: have you encountered crucial bugs so far or is it more save than previous updates?
