I second this. I thought the ability to just parameter lock the arp would be enough, but the ability to disable per step is needed in order to use the arp as a workaround for inputting occasional triplets. If you try to use a short trigger for the arp while it is set to triplets, you won’t be able to have it trigger on all steps.
*EDIT- Just realized I misunderstood. I was talking about being able to disable the arp altogether for certain steps on the sequencer.
The terminology doesn’t seem to be very consistent, and splitter can refer to either dual stereo or breakout cables. What you need is a breakout cable. They usually have a black and a red connector, which might also be labeled tip (black) and ring (red).
Thank you so much ! This template was what I was looking for , was fun to jam away with it . I’m trying to figure out what notes correspond to what Punch in effect . I was able to find a couple so far by accident and programed the buttons on the right side. Will be dope if we can get the Punch In effects notes/pitch so we can map and control that with the XL/other devices
Not directly as you describe it. You could record the delayed note on the next step and nudge it backwards. Another option would be to decrease the tempo way down and live record it to the sequencer without quantization.
Watching from the sidelines on this one, but I agree. This is the top shelf gear, how can so many early adopters be okay with what seem like glaring failures with this launch?
I don’t know what to say, this hasn’t been my experience at all. Different people have different experiences, I wouldn’t speak to yours because I don’t know yours.
