Give the OP-1 a chance, it’s different but in the same time very capable.
Key aspect for taking pleasure discovering it is forgetting what you know about synthesis and use it for what it does.
Bring it everywhere, forget the limitations / look for hacks, have fun…

Ask any question, participate in the battles, browse it, etc. => you’ll discover new aspects in your instrument.
To pair it with other gear, it’s good to have a USB host : computer if you’re not annoyed at it, or better a standalone USB hub such as iConnect MIO2 / MIO4 for instance.
