The thing is, it’s intentional.
Scams are stupid, because scammers don’t want to waste their time on people who’d recognize it’s a scam right before sending the money. They are bottom feeders, they want the dumbest and the most vulnerable people to take the hook and the line.
So it’s not stupid, it’s smart, evil and efficient.

im aware who the targets are, i still dont want to give any of them any credit. doesnt take a genius to pick on the weakest targets. i go as far as saying One scammer has a “good” idea, and then all the other dummies just do those ideas until the next one comes along. there is a reason the basic scams havent changed. (or they work for a “company” specifically doing these scams and they just follow the SOPs) ive talked to a handful and they are immediately defensive and get super offended the instant you insult them, like classic dummies. they hate it when their plans dont work and you call them stupid. we dont need to be out here calling any scammer “smart” for any purpose. theyre fishing with dynamite
there are many scammer baiters/fighters on youtube, Jim Browning, Scammer Baiter, Scammer Revolts, etc., if you look it up you would be surprised how well it works, it’s a multi million dollars industry, and by the look on this op forum - just a casual spam, not a scam at all, the real scammers that scam old folks for thousands of money units are absolute garbage people, but this is not it, just bots posting to a forum who’s admin turned off email verification or something…
is this official TE forum btw or something community funded? someone should alert the mods there to do some cleanup and bit of admin work

yeah ive seen all those, those are the “companies” i mentioned. they dont work well because any of those dudes in the call centers are doing anything other than following a script, that hasnt really changed in 20 years. gonna stick with my “if you choose to be a scammer you are a stupid person” angle. theyre gonna run out of old people one day.
