One Shot Sample too slow and pitched down?

Hey there,

I imported a backing track for my live set and am using it as a one shot due to it being 6 minutes long. All the parameters look fine though, the BPM of the sample is the original sample, timestretch is on normal, and it all seems fine but the sample is playing slower than the project BPM and also pitched down…

Can anyone help?

I’d check the sample rate of your backing track. If it’s at 48khz, it is played at 44.1khz on OT, hence slower and pitched down.

1ST trig condition is better for that purpose imho.

Do you want your sample to only play the first out of four times through the sequence?
Maybe every 2 out of three times?
or maybe you want it to only play the very first time the sample is triggered and no other time…
These are only some of the options when it comes to Trig Conditions.
They are a huge part of what makes the Elektron sequencer great, and well worth looking into.

Welcome to a new sequencing world!

1ST trig condition advantage : you don’t have to arm it. It is triggered once at first pattern pass.
