nope, that doesn’t work because only the tracks go into the delay, well at least I couldn’t find a way to use the internal noise go into the delay without using a voice track…
yeah I already did something in the past p-locking the distortion symmetry, real fun ![]()
I thought there was an option somwhere to put digital FX PRE/POST distorsion, but I haven’t had a Rytm since I have the Syntakt, so I am not 100% sure.
That’s it: on distorsion page you can set DEL to POST so that it comes after the DIST/COMP
yep I’ve tried every combination possible, had long sessions with the delay but the machine does not feed the delay except if you send something from the voice tracks, even if you put it post comp, full overdrive, full feedback, open filters, you must put something into the buffer from the voices…
doesn’t matter, one track of rytm is still very capable, synth + sample, lots can be done
Yes, but it’s the return, not the send.
Damn, you’re right!
simple a4 arp and drum single track ditty i could imagine paul simon singing over this
and here is one lane of md non uw with squirming baby on lap (not audible but filtered through my one free hand)
inspired by you all to experiment with poly mode and the chorus feedback on a4!
thanks to all you beautiful genius’s

i think this finally convinced me to get an A4 (always knew it was good but i’m obsessed with samplers generally)
two times same technique, one synth track Rytm
Might do something longer later …
Cool.
Glad you’re joining the club.
It’s an incredible instrument, full of surprises…
cheeky!
a4 single track mono. 16 steps.
[was too lazy to work on the clicks]
yeah sounds cool, is it all on one sequencer track?
the clicks give it more funk!
I got some kind of one track digitone goonies soundtrack thing recorded into zoom.
48 step revolving door at 129 bpm
Edit: Uploaded new recording with minor changes.
rytm 16 steps
uno mas for fun (can do better honestly, but still)
loving this!
so digitone is polyphonic?
gas approaching…
DN 16 steps 30bpm
DN Polyphony
@Bitsnbobs this track plays around with the fact that the DN has 8 note polyphony, so there’s 14 infinite notes set to various pitches and probabilities, once the 9th note plays the 1st one drops out, so you get a ever shifting harmonic cloud of electricity
Polyphony
Digitone shares 8 voices across 4 tracks.
You can even decide how many voices are dedicated to one track, and even further.
A4 has 4 voices of polyphony shared across 4 tracks, btw.

Beauty!
