Hi
a powerbank and 2x ripcord will do the job. myVolts Ripcord 12V DC – United States
Also works as a mobile solution.
Yeah two Ripcord and I used one of these Amazon.co.uk last time I was away.
It can even be powered from a laptop instead of a powerbank @mattp @DigitalDruid
Really, you’ve done that ? Last time I remember trying to power anything more substantial than a phone from a (mac) laptop, it refused to deliver that much power. Can’t remember the exact hardware involved, so I may be well out of date.
A DT2 will draw 2.4 amps (ish) from a 5 volt supply into a 12v ripcord.
Wow. Ok. I’m well out of date, then.
After all, this platform exists to enlighten and be enlightened :)…
You can very easily run 3 digis off of a single PSU3C using a barrel splitter, if the splitter will reach that far. The devices take most of their power on startup and then all drop significantly. I do this quite regularly with a PD powerbank, its much more stable than trying to use multiple usb outlets, just use the single birdcord and a 3-way splitter.
3 will run for a couple of hours, 2 will run for half a work day, one device will run all day long on my 65w battery.
