I would say blofeld is pretty small

If I could have only 1ā¦
If it needs to be really small you could buy a used Virus TI snow but you go down to 4 parts from 16 and more menu diving.
I second that.
Was in a similar situation recently. I bought a Virus TI2. Absolutely happy with it. Can do almost every āanalogā sound imaginable. I made my decision in this order: sound, multitimbral, polyphony. I thought I had to go real analog but this was not necessary.
ā¦switchmode, why didānt u switch via program changes?
ms2000 in exchange for a nordlead?..thatās a pretty bad dealā¦inni?
Program changes werenāt the problem - it was remembering which patch numbers I was using for which songs on which tracks. If I found a patch I liked, edited it for a particular song and saved it it would be really easy for me to accidentally write over another patch I was using for a different song. Sure I could have written all the used patch slots outon a piece of paper next to the synth but that was annoying for different reasons.
As to the MS2000 being a ābad dealā for the NL2, I should clarify that I sold the Nord and used some of the proceeds for the Korg. They both served the same purpose in my setup (polyphonic VA module).
As to whether one is better than the other, each has their own opinion, but Jexus is one who rates the Korg much, much higher than the Nord.

Another vote for the Peak. I try other poly synths, get GAS, but when I return to the Peak it always delivers something new and interesting. Recently tried the Hydra - definitely worth considering - although The Moog One next to it kept pulling me away
I like the idea of a sidecar synth without many knobs, but with CCs + presets, so that Digitone can drive it totally, and if I save the project, I have everything (without paper templates or syx files)
Gotta say the OB-6 (module in my case) sounds amazing. Not cheap, but a synth for life.
For me its the prophet 6. sure it has not so many options. But what it does does it really well! And when you listening to it, it can sound very complex and alive. The fx are super too. And when you fming the filter with an oscillator ā¦ the sun rises
The Micromonsta might fit that bill. Thereās a new version in the works that Audiothingies say will be bitimbral and with more voices, maybe released later this yearā¦
Although iāve made some beautiful sounds with it, I find it extremely limited and absolutely not worth the price.
