On the fly tap-tempo solution

Folks, I need to change the tempo on my Monologue during live performance with a rock band.

I know I can plug any Elektron via MIDI, Func+🔼 to get the right tempo on it and it will send the clock data to the Monologue… but I don’t want to carry another device just to tap the tempo on the fly.

I can also tap the tempo on my telephone, get the approximate bpm, set it on the Korg quickly and do this while keep performing… but the chance of making mistakes increases :grimacing::skull:

Is there an app (tap on the phone to send MIDI clock) or a dingle to solve this (squishy thing that calculates bpm and send MIDI clock) ?

Should I just left the Monologue at home a bring one of the Elektrons and call it a day? I’ll get to sync perfectly with the rest of the band but in exchange/loss of performance control keyboard/pitchWheel/knobbiness.
