After many years of admiring this app from afar, I finally decided to say “eff it” and bought it.
Live Suite + Reaktor + this - what more do you really need to write a damn tune?

Yeah, I have no excuses for not being productive at this point!
Willpower, imagination, and time!
I love omnisphere I used to play it at my dad‘s house unfortunately I can’t buy it as I don’t have a computer
I really wish they would bring it to the iPad
Chiming in that I decided to go all in with an Osmose and Omnisphere 3 after watching that release promo vid and, yeah, it is the best sounding synth (hardware or software) I have ever heard. That is of course subjective, but some of the presets really feel like the band is right in front of you. It is hard to say exactly what it is since the samples and synth engines can be very different, and sometimes what we think sounds “amazing” musically is a sound that is uniquely recognizable because it is lo-fi/distorted/based on old technology, but the best way I can articulate it is that everything sounds extremely detailed and 3-dimensional. That is more beneficial for something like a sample of an environment than a monosynth bassline, and it doesn’t make my other synths and VSTs sound bad in comparison, but there is a genuinely noticeable quality to it.
Also I did not how bananas you can make it with each patch being combinations of samples/synths split across the keyboard, and then each multi running 8 parts at the same time. Putting atmospheric pads, drum sequences, cello leads, etc. all into a single multi with every key on the keyboard having a different role lets you do serious “one-person-band” improvising with two hands on the keyboard.
Also allows for some deeply alien/ethereal sound design in an intuitive way without just sending something through a million effects and seeing what kind of weird sounds you can make.
I do not regret my purchase. The MPE playability with the Osmose gets into real musical-acid-trip territory. Can’t get enough of that blown ostrich egg.
Same, bought Omnisphere 3 (never used 2), and now I’m really craving for MPE controller ![]()
Anyone know if you can use a combination of Bank change AND Program Change to remotely select a sound?
I understand you can use CCs too.
Does this work so specific values of a CC select a sound?
Eg I send CC7, value 4, it selects a flute.
I send CC7, value 5, it selects a cello.
Or is it one CC to select one sound?
Ok i’m sold haha
