Odd issue with external audio in a song

I have a song on my DT, one tune per bank, with ST added via the input.
As it happens the first tune is DT only, the second starts with only ST sounds.
Oddly, even though both external inputs are set to 100, there’s no sound from the ST unless I tweak one of the external input levels, then they both work as normal.

Is this a known bug, or something to do with song mode, or something else?

Both DT and ST are on the latest firmware.

In general a pattern needs one internal sound (it can be quiet!) to activate the audio engine I believe, and I think there’s a technical reason for it. Adding a ghost note from the DT with a 1st condition might be easier than tweaking the input levels.

Performance is on Saturday so excellent to have removed one of the worries.
