Hi all i would like some help please. I am following a tutorial on macprovideo combining octatrack and digitone. I am doing the midi learn feature and have the settings correct. The octatrack say midi learn success and displays cc 23 for the digitone filter. However when i move this cc know the filter doenst move? The cc knob is enabled and i have triple checked all settings. Any ideas
I have not watched the video and you haven’t said what settings you are using so some of the following may be redundant.
Connections:
OT MIDI Out to DN MIDI In using a working MIDI cable.
On the DN:
In the SETTINGS > MIDI CONFIG > PORT CONFIG menu:
- set INPUT FROM to “MIDI”, and
- activate RECEIVE CC/NRPN.
In the SETTINGS > MIDI CONFIG > CHANNELS menu:
- make a note of the channel number for the track you want to sequence from the OT.
On the OT:
On the MIDI sequencer track that you are using, ensure that the channel number corresponds to the number that you noted above on the DN.
