Octatrack vs Tonverk to cook beats

Hello,
I want to start a project of beat making using a synth and a sampler with some drums hit loaded and drum break. The idea is every sounds except drums are sampled from the synth.
I can’t decide which one work best for making heavy synth bassline beat.
On one side, OT slices, loop and crossfader give life to the synth loop, on the other side TV have plenty of destructive fx, can make the synth polyphonic, granular, etc…

Which one would you choose and why ?

I’d probably take an SP404mk2 to be honest…

But, between the OT and Tonverk, and your brief; I’d say OT every time.
It’s just way more suited to making beats from samples/sampling, and a more inspiring/performative process.
I’d also favour the OT’s track limitations to keep focussed.

I never owned the TV but I can tell you the octatrack felt like I was using 8 sp 404mk2s simultaneously lol.
