The heck happend? Scenes on my 1.30C version is broken… again!

At first they was okay - I wrote 16 patterns and 3 banks. But then scenes started not to work and no longer able to mute tracks on various patterns. What’s the f…

I thought this problem was solved in a last patch - 1.30C
Cause I’ve seen a few comments of this trouble happening in some Octatrackens

What happens exactly? Can you describe it? I want to try to replicate it on mine. I have an mkII and 1.30C.

(You should definitely open a support ticket btw. These things get tracked and fixed. I know because one of the bugs I opened on the DT firmware got fixed in the last update batch :-))

I own used MK1. So no tickets for me.

The situation is that my Octatrack is not playing scenes properly. Some bug or I dunno.
XVOL is not working!

Pitch and everything - yes.
I want to slightly glide through one track volume into the other’s track volume

It’s now not working as I programmed it. XVOL is not visible for OT’s fader, I don’t know, I thought this is that problem which was solved in previous patches. But - no, it’s still there…

Super frustrating. Can you make a new project, and put the fewest possible things into it to make the bug happen? If I can reproduce it, I’ll open the support ticket myself.

BTW I once opened a support ticket on a DT that I bought second hand, even though it wasn’t registered to my account … if you ask them they might just let you open it.

This is scary thing… How am I able to play this live set IF SCENES XVOL IS NO LONGER WORKING wtf??

I feel your pain.

By day I am a network engineer; I do networking for big and small companies on big and small networks. I’ve had bugs in router/switch software before that have driven me half mad. You’d be shocked how often though I solve the problem myself while describing the problem to support :slight_smile:

I’m not saying that’s the case here, but if I can replicate it on my machine I’ll open a ticket for you… I just need to know exactly how to replicate it. I use XVOL a lot and I haven’t had a problem with it yet.
