Octatrack spotted in film, “Sound of Metal”

Anyone else seen this film? It’s streaming on Prime.

There’s a scene where the main character checks up on his girlfriend/collaborator, and finds a video of her online, doing some solo work on an OT MKI and eurorack:

I was not expecting the see an OT in this film.

Also, a good film overall. Highly recommended.

been meaning to give this a watch.
i play drums and went through some hearing loss/ vertigo bullshit so the premise hits home.
I will put it in the queue!

Edit: Good movie! Solid message about finding the quiet space inside us all…

Nice, it definitely should be come something in a futuristic film or something noir’. Cool to see it’s prominence becoming cinemantic.

A lot of informations in the trailer! Except Octatrack. :content:
Yeah seems very interesting. Becoming deaf is probably my worst fear. And we’re loosing regularly audition from around 25 years old…

A good movie with an interesting story. Happy news for my son: it’s not because he play drum he becomes deaf.
Just some inconsistencies at the end…

Be careful though! Still possible to loose audition as a drummer or any instrument with loud monitoring…

of course, but not in this movie.
