I’d love to hear some word from Elektron about this too. The Octatrack is my favorite box, and I really hope there are future plans for it. There are some huge threads on here with feature requests, some of them more realistic than others. But some of the current omissions (functional external triggering of slices!) are pretty egregious on such a fancy sampler.
If there are no major changes planned, I can live with it, but it would be nice to know.
Absolutely! Time to get an update or just tell us what the plans are.
They’re still getting the AR to be 100% stable, it was released not very long ago. Just give them a chance, they said in another thread that they’ve been overwhelmed by how much they’ve grown.
I am perfectly happy with them taking a break from new hardware and making sure ALL of their current gear is updated to the best we can get them. Even if they do want to release an OT MKII, lets get this one maxed out first. I am not going to sell mine just because they released a new version.
